Different by Design
FIShR's founder, Steve Robinson, spent over 35 years in WA's human services sector before building FIShR - long enough to see exactly what doesn't work: families with three different coordinators in a year, support workers who couldn't say when anyone last checked in. That's not rare - it's what happens when structure comes before relationships.
We wanted better. So we started with the relationship that matters most - participants and their direct supports - and built outward from there.
Our Coordinators of Supports and Independent Support Workers are business partners, not names on a large agency's roster. The support workers they employ work for someone genuinely invested in getting it right - small, intentional teams, by design.
But we didn't stop there - keeping good people in the sector matters to us. So we built a genuine career pathway too: not just a stop-gap while you study or look for something else, but a real way to grow.
I’m looking for NDIS support
Real support, without the churn
I want to join the team
A real stake, not just a paid role
Why people choose FIShR
Real Investment, not just a role - success is tied to outcomes, not hours logged
Real choice, real growth - participants and families choose how support is led; our people have a genuine career path
We stay in touch - timely replies and regular check-ins, not just contact when something’s wrong
Small intentional teams - caseloads that aren’t stacked as high as possible
Solid systems behind the scenes - governance and compliance handled properly
Flexible by design - works however you mange your plan, or where you are in your career
